THE STELLAR ELECTRICS GUIDES
How much does an EICR cost?
Stellar Electrics · Updated
An EICR price should make sense for your property. Stellar Electrics’ domestic inspections start from £89, with no VAT added. Your exact price is shown in the booking journey before payment.
What affects the cost?
The booking page asks for three things: property size, the number of fuse boards and your postcode. A larger property or more than one fuse board can mean a different scope of inspection. Your postcode also allows availability for your location to be checked.
What is the starting price?
£89 is a starting price, not a flat price for every home. Select the details that match your property and review the total. Stellar Electrics is not VAT registered, so VAT is not added to the price.
What should you compare in an EICR quote?
- The property and installation covered, including fuse boards.
- The inspection and testing scope, including any limitations.
- Provision of the written report and explanation of the findings.
- Any conditions or additional charges relevant to your property.
Ask about anything unclear before confirming an appointment. A headline price on another website may be based on different property details.
Does the inspection price include repairs?
Do not assume remedial work or further investigation is included. An EICR records the condition of the installation; any follow-up work needs its scope and price clarified before you authorise it. The inspection fee does not guarantee a satisfactory result.
How do I get my exact price?
- Open the booking page and select Domestic.
- Choose the property size and number of fuse boards.
- Enter the property postcode and check the price and availability.
- Review the details and conditions before choosing an appointment and paying.
If you are unsure how many fuse boards the property has, call Nadeem before booking. For commercial properties or unusual access requirements, discuss the inspection first.
